Young Person's Mentor/Tutor 

Reports to: Local Manager
Position: Self Employed & Part-Time
Salary: £20-25 per hour session

Purpose

To help deliver local mentoring and tutoring sessions with assigned young people in real need of help and support.

Objectives

1. To mentor and tutor young people to aid growth and confidence in life and subject matter.
2. To serve and support partnering organisations to deliver services.

Responsibilities

1. Deliver 1 on 1 and possibly small group mentoring and tutoring in schools and other agreed places within local communities.
2. Keep a record of activity, progress and any incidents.
3. Report as required and attend relevant meetings.

Role requirements:

• An enhanced DBS
• Experience working with young people.
• Child Protection Training (can be provided, must be taken)
• First Aid Training (can be provided, must be taken)
• Clean driving licence and ability to transport to sessions.
